Currently, Miles and Mutts is working to start a program to run with shelter dogs and is evaluating potential runners.  I spent time today getting to know of a few of the potential dogs who would be able to go off site with others.  These two sisters would definitely love a running buddy!  They are easy to handle and I look forward to trying a real run with them.  Of course, it would be even better if they find a home before I have the next opportunity to try running with them.

Miles and Mutts is in the planning stages. Working with Better Days Animal League, canine running partners will be paired with volunteer runners for regular, scheduled runs.  As soon  as details are confirmed, the schedule will be easily available on the Join the Pack page.  In the meantime, any questions can be directed to Abbi at highermiles@gmail.com.
